EPW - Audemars Piguet & Co, Brassus & Geneva, minute repeater, 47mm, 18K gold original OF case with Jurgensen-style lips, gold cuvette with 1897 presentation, white enamel SS dial, SW-SS, fully capped lever escapement, strike train jeweled to hammers, 26-34J, ratchet with wolf's tooth winding, fausses-cĂ´tes pattern nickel damascene, s#4644 with matching serial number within case. Comes with its original wooden "Audemars, Piguet & Co, Brassus & Geneva" marked box containing a certificate of rating with correctly matched serial number to the present watch and also containing extra replacement parts under the watch recess including an extra small mainspring and crystal. Also comes with a leather strap as pictured. Gross weight of assembled watch 47.7 dwt (74.2 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, good repeat function and tone, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, plates with scattered micro-fine scratches; dial with some darkened adhesive visible around seating of its seconds-register, two scratches at 5, micro-fine surface scratch at 7; excellent hands; case shows little wear, some fine scratches and profuse micro-fine scratches, some shallow dents around central portion of rear, small but sharp pinpoint ding to lower-left perimeter of rear, ding to bezel at 5, small indent to upper rear from bow, protruding ding to cuvette near center; tight bow, crown shows ample wear with ridge break; good glass crystal with two small smoothed edge flakes between 9 and 10; box in fine cosmetic condition, split to bottom running full length from front to rear, exterior with some light marring and scratches, darkening to upper lid's inlaid mother-of-pearl, good button latch, interior with significant tearing to upper portion of lid liner, extra crystal within box has edge chips and flakes.
